Oye Patria,
I want to ask you a question. Yes you.
Tell me what it feels like when you find yourself in complete solitude from everything that has ever hurt you and it feels just right. Tell me what you desire in that one moment when you can mimic the exact touch of your favorite lover all over your core. Or how about the contentedness your whole body receives as an achievement when you know you've done something beautiful for the universe. How about the feeling of taking a risk at someone else's expense and having no idea how it would hurt them? How about the hollowness in the core of your stomach because you can't swallow the truth of how destroyed and full of ruins your actual territory is? Or how about the powerless emotion that takes over you when you realize that you can't ever change the fact that life has a plan for you and you just have to wait it out?
I left my soul in Cuba.
Somewhere in a crowd filled with beautiful stories and outstanding smiles.
within the laughter of children and the singing of men.
Somewhere out there is the blond girl that was just still every night by the sea, with a smoke in one hand and a pen in the other.

Simply beautiful.
ReplyDeletein my opinion, the most beautiful thing that anyone could do for the universe is to learn to love oneself, unconditionally, all the time...
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a lot of big questions here...but the one that spoke to me was " Or how about the powerless emotion that takes over you when you realize that you can't ever change the fact that life has a plan for you and you just have to wait it out"
ReplyDeleteThat's just it. That perception is emotion, a feeling..nothing more, nothing less. Feelings pass and when they're held onto...no matter how "good" they are, they drown.
Yeah, life might have a plan for you, for me, for Bob and Jane...but it's nothing more than a blueprint. You design your own life. This plan, this self...all of these concepts are skeletons that are waiting for you to dress them up. Connect with "God" (whatever that means to you) and you're connecting with yourself and you can do exactly what "God" does.
If you don't like the skeleton you're given, rearrange it. We have the power to do that, we are only at the mercy of things we let control us.
Now, there are a lot of "you's" in here, imagine most of them are "I's" it's all my opinion and I'm not giving advice, I'm just using a general you and referring, somewhat, to myself. lol
I also agree w/ Camille said. Love yourself unconditionally and you're loving the universe.
You';ll sort things out, you just had a huge experience and are just settling back into the norm lol. Just give your soul some time to come back to Toronto, it doesn't work like the body does. It's not subjected to airplane times, money, geography. It'll find you soon.
Take care!
